Appertunity blog explores the exciting, ever expanding creative world of mobile photography with the main emphasis on iphone and ipad photographic creativity (iphoneography) but also occasionally exploring other types of mobile creativity.
Over the past few years an ever increasing number of film and photography apps, filters and sharing services such as instagram have propelled mobile photography to new levels and resulted in a unique form of creativity accessible and sharable from the palm of your hand.
Mobile photography is an emergent art form that is still in its infancy but due to wireless communication technology and ever changing hardware advances it is a continuously evolving movement that has led to a truly democratic worldwide explosion of creativity.
Appertunity blog aims to explore this amazing new movement and share the latest mobile photography news and creative art works with you.
As well as iphoneography and mobile photography appertunity blog also occasionally explores other iphone and ipad based creativity such as iphone & ipad art, film, music and writing.
Along with this Appertunity blog will feature relevant iphone news plus some of the more unusual or noteworthy non photographic apps which will increase the enjoyment you get from your mobile device.

If you have any ideas wish to note something or would like to submit photographic work, articles or app reviews etc to be featured in our posts and gallery please do so & forward your work via email to pukkap@gmail.com although if submitting art work for display please read the artwork submission notes below.
Submission notes:
The work submitted must be your own.
Art works created on Iphone or ipad are preferable but other mobile artworks are acceptable.
Manipulation of your work on anything other than a mobile device or an iphone or ipad means your work will not be accepted for inclusion.
You will retain copyright of the images submitted.
Images will not be reproduced anywhere other than Appertunity blog without your permission (apart from hotlinked thumbnails).
Note: With regards to photographic and art work only a few exceptional images can be accepted due to limitations of space, therefore please don’t be upset if your work isn’t included although feel free to try again with a different piece.
Appertunity iphone blog has its own app icon you can add to your iphone home screen:
1) In Safari go to www.appertunity.com whilst on your iphone
2) Hit the plus symbol at the bottom of your screen
3) Next hit ‘Add to Home Screen’ button
4) Shorten the icon name if you wish
5) Hit Add and your done!
