Clam case ipad accessory turns your ipad into a notebook

Still not sure how I feel about this ipad accessory - the clam case.

On the one hand it looks great, protects your ipad screen and has a keyboard thus turning your ipad into what looks like a notebook but on the other hand the ipad was never meant to be a notebook its a peripheral device! I still want one!

Non-sense to the naysayers. The bottom line is this is a case that fits a particular need. To say that it just makes it a laptop is silly. How many laptops can you remove the screen from and use solely as a very nice tablet? Now, it may not suit all, but something like this could be perfect for me when I go out of town or to the coffee shop to write. I don’t have to lug my laptop along, nor do I have to carry my ipad and apple BT keyboard. Much more efficient. Looking forward to it.
