Doodle kids – an iphone drawing app has been in the app store for sometime now.
Although this is old news I enjoyed this app and it still brings a smile to my face partly because it was written by 9 year old Lim Ding Wen who lives in Singapore.
“I wrote the program for my younger sisters, who likes to draw,”
His sisters are aged 3 and 5. Lims father, Lim Thye Chean must be very proud!
Doodle Kids draws random shapes in different colors creating interesting effects.
To clear the screen, simply shake the device! Tap with two fingers to clear the screen and get a new color background.
To save the picture, simply do a screen capture by holding down the Home and Power buttons simultaneously.
Just goes to show what you can you do if you set your mind to it even at aged 9! I do wonder however if the his parents have pushed their kids a little too hard, shouldn’t he be out eating soil and building dens or something?
