Change TV channels by turning your iphone into a remote!

I’ve been looking for an add on that would allow me to get rid of all my remotes and replace them with the iphone and it looks like i-Got Control Universal Remote is it!

The i-Got Control iPhone comes in the form of both hardware and a free i-Got-Control App which comes with over 40,000 Infra Red (IR) codes for electronic devices!

i-Got-Control allows users to also operate lighting or other systems. Doug Schwartz, president of i-Got-it.com says

“It also features an extensive built-in IR library, which means that – unlike most remote controls and other similar products in the marketplace – i-Got-Control does not require ‘learning,’ making it simple and easy to set up and use.”.

Fantastic idea and great app but why the app is ad supported when you have  to pay for the device is a mystery! Greed? There’s a fine line and ads in paid apps is over stepping the mark!

Appertunity has spoken its first commandment – ‘Though shalt not subject us to unwanted advertising’…I know, i know the irony’s killing me too!
