Ellen DeGeneres is in the Apple dog house after she played a spoof iPhone ad during her talk show on Monday 3rd May 2010.
In the sketch she is seen to glorify the iPhone but then has huge difficulties sending a text! It’s actually quite funny.
Apple complained & Ellen responded by apologizing (Grow a backbone Ellen!) and retracted her view that it’s difficult to text with & stated that she loves her iPhone!
I feel Apple are being far too sensitive after all it’s free advertising and even bad news has been shown to increase sales!
That said Apple do have their investment to protect and Ellen is a big name at least in the US if not so much the UK.
This is perhaps one if the few things that irks me personally about Apple they seem to be devoid of a sense of humor!
Some people do find texting on the iPhone difficult!
Oh God!

I can hear the lawyers tapping on my door right now!
I love Ellen and the iphone but lighten up Steve and grow a backbone Ellen!
